Guests at Tatyana Tarasova's anniversary. Ice anniversary of Tatyana Tarasova. Personal life of Tatyana Tarasova

Tatyana Anatolyevna Tarasova is an outstanding mentor, consultant at the Figure Skating Federation of the Russian Federation, daughter of the legendary “father of Russian hockey” Anatoly Tarasov (as he is named in the Encyclopedia Britannica).

Being one of the best specialists in her field, she trained the largest number of Olympic champions in the world history of figure skating, namely 7 gold medalists, including Irina Rodnina and Alexei Yagudin, three silver and one bronze medalist and more than 40 winners of other major world competitions.

Like her father, she was a talented, uncompromising, tough and demanding coach, capable of achieving outstanding results and defending justice in fundamental matters. He considered it necessary to protest against the bias of the judges. As a result, he left the ice with the team during the game, which Brezhnev was also present at, for which he was fired and deprived of the title of Honored Coach.

She, despite the quite expected consequences, publicly criticized the Sports Committee's policy regarding the humiliatingly low salaries of figure skaters and their mentors, and as a result was forced to leave, interrupting her coaching career at the peak.

Childhood of Tatyana Tarasova

The future celebrity was born into a sports family on February 13, 1947 in the capital. Her father, Anatoly Vladimirovich, is a hockey player, football player and coach, the national team he led for nine years in a row, since 1963, was the permanent winner of international competitions, her mother, Nina Grigorievna, like her husband, graduated from a higher school for coaches, and is a physical education teacher.

Already having a daughter, Galina, the family wanted a son, but a second daughter, Tanya, was born. Perhaps that is why she was raised Spartan, like a boy. At the age of 4, her dad taught her to swim in a simple but effective way - he threw her into the sea, and at the age of 5, he sent her to the skating rink.

Every day, before school, in any weather and at any time of the year, she had to do exercises and run in the yard of the house. Moreover, according to Galina, the father watched the process from the balcony, making sure that his daughter worked out conscientiously and did not cut corners while running, reducing the distance.

Together with the boys, Tanya played hockey, had a sports category in diving, and from the age of 6 she went to training on her own, without an escort.

Coaching career of Tatyana Tarasova

From 1964 to 1966, Tarasova successfully performed in tandem with Georgy Proskurin. At the USSR Championship in 1964 they took 3rd place, a year later they became second, and in 1966 they became winners of the Winter Universiade, an international competition among students. But an injury she received soon did not allow her to continue performing as a figure skater.

From the age of 19, the girl took up coaching. Among her first students were such famous couples as Zharkova-Karponosov, Moiseeva-Minenkov.

She herself dreamed of studying at the choreographer’s department of GITIS. However, the father was against his daughter’s choice, and in 1974 she became a student at the Institute of Physical Education.

Tarasova always tried to be worthy of her strict and fantastically devoted father to sports, and would never dare to disobey him. Subsequently, the strength of his character and obsession with his profession was fully transmitted to her.

In 1975, she was awarded the honorary title of Honored Coach of the country, but only after achieving the triumph of her players in the next, third Olympics in 1992, she received recognition from her father, who called her a colleague.

Further career of Tatyana Tarasova

Among the students of the brilliant mentor were Rodnina-Zaitsev, Bestemyanova-Bukin, Romanova-Yaroshenko and many other famous athletes. Experts noted that she taught all of them to devote themselves completely to work, to skate with soul and with full dedication, to give all their best and win.

In 1983, Tarasova founded the All Stars ice theater. The idea of its creation was suggested to her by her husband, an outstanding pianist and teacher, Vladimir Krainev. There she worked on staging large-scale performances on ice with famous figure skaters and as a choreographer, fulfilling her long-time dream both as a director and as a coach. The project lasted for 14 years.

The troupe demonstrated its art to the whole world, performing in Australia, Great Britain, and at the famous Madison Square Garden sports complex in the USA. Their repertoire consisted of classic works - “West Side Story”, “The Nutcracker”, “Cabaret”, “Cinderella”.

At the end of the 90s, a very difficult situation with work and salaries developed in the country, so the coach had to look for sales opportunities abroad.

In addition to domestic athletes, Tarasova helped many foreign stars reach heights, including Sasha Cohen, Evan Lysacek, Shizuka Arakawa.

At the end of 2005, Tatyana Tarasova was able to return to Russia from America. Continuing her coaching activities, she headed the jury of the projects “Stars on Ice” and “Ice Age”.

Personal life of Tatyana Tarasova

The sports celebrity was married 3 times. At first, for 2 years, her life partner was actor Alexei Samoilov. He worked at the Sovremennik Theater and was the son of the famous people's artist Yevgeny Samoilov. Although the couple broke up, they still maintain a warm relationship.

Tatyana's second husband was the athlete Vasily Khomenko. They met early in her coaching career. In 1976, he tragically passed away, so Tarasova does not really like to talk about her husband.

In 1978, Tatyana married musician and pianist Vladimir Krainev, who lived and taught in Hannover, Germany. At that time, Tarasova was 31 years old; she had buried her former husband two years ago, so she did not think at all about a new marriage.

The young people met through mutual friends and got married 9 days later. The wedding was very modest due to the small amount of free time and frequent travel. The couple lived together for 33 years. Vladimir was very supportive of Tatyana in her work, helping with productions and programs for competitions. He believed in her and tried to give her full support in her activities.

Vladimir died after a serious illness in the spring of 2011. Before this, Tarasova suffered the loss of her sister Galina and her mother. During this tragic period of her life, only thanks to her work and students was she able to recover from the death of loved ones.

The only remaining member of the legendary coach's immediate family is his nephew Alexey. He and his wife Alena have two children, Matvey and Fedor. Tatiana's legendary father died in 1995.

The sports celebrity heads the panel of judges for the “Ice Ages”, “Professionals Cup”, released on the eve of the Olympics in Sochi in 2014, where the national teams of Russia and the world met.

She shocked the public by being able to lose 40 kilograms. In 2015, the importance of her comments and support was emphasized by Olympic champion Tatyana Navka in her interview on the eve of the Moscow premiere of the glacier musical “Carmen”. This performance was presented at the Luzhniki International Sports Hall as part of the Chereshnevy Orchard festival, of which Tarasova was a member of the board of trustees.

Anniversary evening of Tatyana Tarasova. Issue dated 03/12/2017

Tatiana Tarasova's anniversary 2017

The legend of Russian figure skating Tatyana Tarasova celebrated her 70th birthday. And not in some restaurant (although it could not have happened without him) or at the premiere of an ice show, accompanied by dozens of congratulatory speeches. The renowned coach gathered the social and business elite of Moscow in its very heart - at the GUM skating rink, which 11 years ago was opened on Red Square precisely with her light hand.

Vladislav Tretyak, Vladimir Pozner, Tatyana and Valentin Yumashev, Mikhail Kusnirovich, Vyacheslav Zaitsev, Tatyana Anatolyevna’s students and many other guests came to congratulate the woman who raised a good half of the Olympic champions in our country.

An hour before the gathering of guests, the hero of the occasion gave a grand press conference. The occasion was the premiere of Tarasova’s holiday show called “7.0 Anniversary among Friends,” which will be held at Luzhniki on February 17 and 18. However, official statements from the very first minutes gave way to friendly speeches and warm memories. The coach even recalled a sad story about how she received an unfortunate injury, because of which she was forced to end her sports career forever.

I then “knocked out” my arm, broke my shoulder and left the race forever. After that, she began coaching at the age of 19,” said the birthday girl.

The series of sports memories of Tatyana Tarasova and warm words addressed to her from Ilya Averbukh and Alexey Yagudin was interrupted by Vyacheslav Zaitsev. The designer rarely appears in public lately, but he couldn’t help but congratulate his close friend on her 70th birthday.

Slavochka, my handsome man! My genius! When I was young, I endured all his dresses and coats, all his fur coats! “I still have all his collections, but I can’t wear them anymore - the size is wrong,” Tarasova joked.

By the end of the press conference, dozens of guests had already gathered at the fountain in GUM. With piles of gifts and flowers, the invitees tried in vain to break through to the hero of the day, surrounded by a ring of reporters who wanted to take photos as a souvenir of fans.

When the crowd subsided, the guests left GUM to the skating rink, where an outdoor winter cafe was organized. The birthday girl treated those gathered to pickles, pies and sandwiches. And to keep those gathered from freezing, waiters constantly cruised around the perimeter, delivering glasses of mulled wine and homemade liqueur. To the delight of the lightly dressed ladies, the heavy snowfall had stopped by that time, and rare snowflakes gave the event a special fairy-tale atmosphere.

On the occasion of the celebration of Tatyana Tarasova's anniversary, an ice sculpture with an abbreviation from the initial letters of the name - TAT - was installed in the courtyard of GUM. The birthday girl's friends staged more than one impromptu photo shoot in front of her.

Fizkult-hello! I see that you are already frozen, so we won’t perform for a long time! - Tatyana Tarasova calmed the guests, who were flushed in the cold.

The program actually turned out to be short. It was opened by Maria Petrova and Alexey Tikhonov, who passed the baton to Tatyana Totmyanina and Maxim Marinin. Olympic champion Tatyana Navka, who took to the ice together with Roman Kostomarov, danced her program in a light dress with an open back. The athlete looked impressive, as always, but it was cold to look at her.

Here she is, my Tanya: winter, frost, and she has an open back! A real champion! Strong-willed, with character, smart. That’s why I love her,” Tarasova praised her student.

By the time Olympic champion Alexei Yagudin stepped onto the ice (he showed with gestures that he was very cold), the number of guests had noticeably decreased - many had moved inside the shopping center. Returning from the skating rink, Tatyana Tarasova led her friends to continue the celebration - tables were already waiting in the restaurant on the third floor.

Anniversary evening of Tatyana Tarasova 2017.

The anniversary of the Honored Coach of the USSR Tatyana Anatolyevna Tarasova was celebrated at Luzhniki. There were so many people wishing to congratulate the famous Soviet and Russian coach on his 70th birthday that three shows had to be done at once. The stage director was Ilya Averbukh, it was his gift to Tatyana Anatolyevna, and the host was Tarasova’s favorite student Alexey Yagudin. On stage, as in a makeshift apartment, the hospitable hostess accepted congratulations, indulged in memories and was generous with compliments. Olympic champions from all over the world gathered for the anniversary, and several generations of figure skaters were represented. One of the main surprises of the project was the appearance on the ice of seven-time USSR Olympic champion Tamara Nikolaevna Moskvina. Natalya Bestemyanova and Andrei Bukin also came to congratulate Tarasova, who in 1988 in Calgary under the leadership of Tatyana Anatolyevna became Olympic champions. The modern team was represented by Maxim Kovtun, the first Olympic champion in the history of Russia in Sochi, Adelina Sotnikova, the dancing couple Ekaterina Bobrova and Dmitry Solovyov, who train with Alexander Zhulin, as well as the hope of the Russian team, two-time European champion, world champion Evgenia Medvedeva. Vladimir Spivakov sent a recording of Massenet’s “Reflections” in his performance especially for her performance, and Ilya Averbukh choreographed a piercing emotional dance: fragile Zhenya in a delicate white dress against the backdrop of cosmic installations seemed like a heavenly angel. To the sounds of the song “The Woman Who Sings,” Tatyana Navka and Roman Kostomarov took to the ice. Tatyana Totmyanina and Maxim Marinin also congratulated the birthday girl. Their number “Let's Pray for Our Parents” moved the audience to tears. Also, many famous and beloved skaters took part in the show: Ekaterina Gordeeva, Ilya Kulik, Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin, Margarita Drobyazko and Povilas Vanagas, Yuko Kawaguchi and Alexander Smirnov, Maria Petrova and Alexey Tikhonov. The finale of the evening was the famous “Winter” by Tarasova’s favorite student Alexei Yagudin, which he performed in the same costume in which he won gold in Salt Lake City in 2002. By his own admission, Tatyana Anatolyevna personally glued the rhinestones to the suit. According to Tarasova, “she had never seen anything like this in her life - Ilyusha Averbukh presented such a poignant show.” 03/12/2017.

Colleagues and friends of the famous coach came to congratulate Tatyana Anatolyevna on her 70th birthday.

A grand celebration in honor of the 70th anniversary was held in GUM. Several dozen celebrity guests came to congratulate the greatest Soviet and Russian coach on his birthday.

After talking with journalists, Tarasova invited everyone to the GUM Skating Rink, where demonstration performances by famous Russian figure skaters took place.

The host of the evening, Ilya Averbukh, promised that this is only a small part of the grandiose anniversary show that awaits everyone on February 17 and 18 at Luzhniki: figure skaters from all over the world will come for their beloved coach.

GUM turned into a huge flower meadow - a separate table was allocated for bouquets, but the space on it quickly ran out. In honor of the anniversary, the birthday girl put on all her awards, as she herself admitted, for the first time in her life. “I have one special medal,” said Tatyana Anatolyevna, “I won it at the Winter Universiade and at the awards ceremony I fell, ran over the rubber track, knocked out my arm, broke my shoulder and left the race forever.

And so, at the age of nineteen, I began teaching. And all the other awards - two Orders of the Red Banner of Labor, the Order of the Badge of Honor, the Order of Friendship of Peoples, and the Order of Merit for the Fatherland - I received for the victories of my students at the Olympic Games.”

Answering a question about unusual birthday gifts, the champion coach recalled the ice festival that Ilya Averbukh organized for her sixtieth birthday.

“It seemed like all the people in the stands, the whole stadium, were my friends.” When it came to gifts, Averbukh pulled out a toy ice skating rink from the bins, which actually turned out to be a box with a book inside. This is an incredible book “About Tanya...”, which contains memories and congratulations from close friends of the great Tarasova.

Of course, such an anniversary cannot be imagined without figure skating: despite the snow and cold weather, the famous Russian Olympic champions Tatyana Totmyanina and Maxim Marinin, Maria Petrova and Alexey Tikhonov, Tatyana Navka and Roman Kostomarov, as well as Alexey Yagudin performed at the GUM skating rink.

Ilya Averbukh has been preparing this surprise for six months!

“It’s been 10 years since our first show, and we’ve been together all these years,” he said. — And Tatyana Anatolyevna inspired us for new productions. This year we are again doing a big gala program dedicated to the anniversary, and there were so many people who wanted to perform that we had to do three shows at once.

Several generations of athletes will be presented at once, this is the past, present and future of domestic figure skating, a parade of champions.”

Alexey Yagudin and Tatyana Totmyanina gave the birthday girl a fur coat right on the ice!

“You have always, all these years, warmed us with your warmth and have been for us a real wall that can shelter us from all adversity. We really want this gift to warm you and give you our warmth and love,” said Tarasova’s favorite student.

Mikhail Kusnirovich and Tatyana Tarasova

Vyacheslav Zaitsev was one of the first to congratulate Tarasova: “I became very close with Tanya in 1978, I sewed costumes for performances,” he said. “She’s a completely work-obsessed person.”

Festive gala shows will take place on February 17 and 18 at the Luzhniki Sports Palace with the participation of Natalia Bestemyanova and Andrey Bukin, Ilya Kulik and Ekaterina Gordeeva, Tatyana Navka and Roman Kostomarov and other famous athletes, as well as our modern team represented by Evgenia Medvedeva, Adelina Sotnikova and Maxim Kovtun. Vladimir Spivakov and Denis Matsuev will play for the hero of the day, Philip Kirkorov, Alla Pugacheva, Vladimir Presnyakov, Kristina Orbokaite will sing their hits.

the site saw how a figure skater, performing at a show in honor of Tatyana Tarasova, became ill on the ice.

On February 17 and 18, at the State Central Concert Hall “Russia” in Luzhniki, the 70th birthday of Tatyana Anatolyevna Tarasova, who trained more Olympic champions in figure skating than anyone else in history, is celebrated on a grand scale. Everyone came to congratulate her and even flew from the USA - like Ilya Kulik, her first Olympic champion in men's single skating. His namesake Ilya Averbukh prepared a big show program, which, as the birthday girl admitted backstage to the assembled guests, was a complete surprise for her.

Unfortunately, during one of the performances there was an unpleasant surprise. During Zara’s performance of the famous “Waltz” by Evgeniy Dog, there was a short break on the ice - it was not the legendary skaters who were skating, but the “Synchronized Lines” group [there is not only synchronized swimming, but also synchronized figure skating]. The girls circled beautifully in the haze, and one of them suddenly fell, like a wounded swan. It looked so organic that for the first 15 seconds the audience thought that everything was going according to the plot. When the artificial fog cleared a little, it became clear that something was wrong: the poor girl was shaking as if from the cold, her teammates were circling around her and did not know what to do. With imperceptible gestures, they called one of the guards onto the ice, but he could not cope alone, and four people carried the athlete off the ice. She was unconscious. The performance was not stopped or even interrupted. When the performance ended, Alexey Yagudin, who hosted the evening, rather dutifully noted that the figure skater’s life is dangerous and full of injuries, but he was interrupted by Tatyana Tarasova, who... scolded the staff for his actions on the ice:

“Everyone knows that if a person falls like that, you can’t touch him until the doctors arrive,” she said excitedly. Her voice trembled, it was clear how worried she was about the unfamiliar skater.

A couple of issues later, Tatyana Anatolyevna was informed that everything was fine with the girl, but she fell because she was supposedly simply overexcited, although, of course, this was not the case. This is not the group's first performance, and judging by the way the poor girl was shaking before she lost consciousness, we are talking about more serious medical reasons. Tarasova asked the girl to go on the ice again if everything was really fine with her, but the skater never appeared on the arena again.

Other performances by our figure skating stars went smoothly; by the end of the evening, Tarasova had recovered a little from the unpleasant incident and even found the strength to sign autographs for ordinary spectators long after midnight.
