How to cook turkey in a slow cooker:

Soak dried mushrooms in water for an hour and a half. Then rinse well. Cut as desired.

You can use fresh or frozen mushrooms. Frozen sliced ​​mushrooms can be immediately placed in the slow cooker without defrosting.

Roughly chop the onion. Peel the carrots and cut into pieces.

Place mushrooms and onions in a slow cooker. Add water, cranberries and spices. Add salt to taste. Place chopped carrots around the breast.

Wash the turkey breast and place in the slow cooker.

Close the multicooker and turn on the “Simmer” mode.

Remove the finished fillet from the pan and cut into pieces. Transfer to a plate. Place stewed carrots and mushrooms around.

How to cook turkey with mushrooms

First of all, the turkey fillet should be fried. To do this, you need to cut the meat into small slices and place it in a multicooker cup, adding a spoonful of butter;

To fry, you need to set the “Frying” or “Baking” mode (depending on the multicooker model) and cook until the meat crust is golden brown;

After frying the turkey, you need to remove it from the slow cooker. Mushrooms should be cut into halves. Large “individuals” can be cut into quarters and fried in a slow cooker with onion, not very coarsely chopped. Fry in the oil left over from roasting the turkey;

When the mushrooms are fried, add turkey meat to them, pour in wine and cognac, bay leaf and thyme, as well as pepper and salt. Next, cook the turkey with mushrooms using the “Stew” mode (10 minutes).

Today for dinner I have turkey fillet in a creamy sauce with mushrooms, stewed in a slow cooker. This is a very simple, satisfying and tasty dish that can be eaten by both children and adults. We will cook it in a slow cooker. We will simply throw all the products together, and the equipment will do the rest for us and there is no need to be afraid that something will burn. Turkey fillet needs to be cooked longer than chicken fillet to ensure it is tender. But it is considered more useful and dietary.   • Champignons – 300 g.
  • Onion – 1 pc.
  • Sour cream – 4 tbsp
  • Water – 2 cup
  • Flour – 1.5 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp

How to cook delicious turkey fillet

Finely chop the onion and cut the meat into small pieces. Turn on the multicooker in the Frying\Stewing mode for 60 minutes, pour in vegetable oil. Add the prepared products, salt and mix. We do not close the lid.

Wash the champignons and cut into pieces and add to the bowl, stir, close the multicooker lid and simmer for 40 minutes.

Making creamy sauce

Pour water into a bowl, add sour cream, salt, spices and mix flour with a whisk until the flour is completely dissolved.

We open the lid and see that the meat is almost ready.

Pour the creamy sauce over it and simmer for another 15 minutes until it thickens.
